decorating toddler boys room
Do you sometimes wish you could freeze time just for a bit?
Today we moved Hayden and his toddler bed out of our room and into his big boy room. Tonight is his frist night in his own room. He will be 2 Sept 21st and i was totally okay with making the transition on his birthday night…but he seemed really excited as he saw me painting his room and decorating this past week.
He’s my baby…the youngest of 4, and i am SO having a long night. i just keep checking him…and yes sure enough he’s fast asleep…but i’m on the verge of tears. He’s my last one, there will be no more “firsts” after he’s had them all. oh i just wish i could freeze time JUST for a little while!

still…i LOVE the baby years. 
All the time!!! I am in the same boat as you w/ our 4th being our last & after all his first’s are done that is it. Jaxon is only 4 months old & I am hanging on to everyday. He just learned how to interlock his fingers & I can’t get enough of it. I sometimes say “I can’t wait until he is crawling”… then I am like oh shoot I CAN wait, I don’t want to rush anything! Once he is crawling, he’ll be walking, then running, the moving out OMGosh it freaks me out! I would love if time could just freeze & the whole family could stay the ages we are right now. It would be perfect 
(We have a 8 y/o son, 6½ y/o son, 4 y/o daughter & a 4 month old son.)
