Have any of you taken two colors of tulle and twisted them for decorations?

I am having a hard time explaning what I want to say……We are wanting to use white and black tulle for our decorating when it comes to the bridal party table, cake and gift tables. We are wanting to do the swags with twinkle lights. So have any of you used more then one color of tulle for decorating?

I have used two colours to decorate a clients wedding. For her it was pink & white.

Since you are using black & white, I might try putting an even length of each with the lights inside and have it tied in various spots with some type of flower you are using or with a bow (which can also be used by the white tulle). I may not use too much black; it may make the room appear darker or closed in when you may want to have an open & airy approach.

Also look at using black & white ribbon (various designs like stripes, dots or even take two ribbons) and make a design to wrap your favours. The cake may have ribbon & instead of the white linen on the table, use the black tulle then the white (like a stacking approach) and then place the cake. To add some interest, have some silver (or gold depending on your wedding bands) to accent the table & use flowers to brighten it up. Some votives in black or white holders might be a touch too.

Just carry the theme throughout and have a great time!
I know it will look beautiful!

Congrats!
