What would be a good prize for a gingerbread house decorating contest?
My family and I are hosting a christmas party this Saturday, and we are having a gingerbread house decorating contest for the kids. They will be split into two teams, and they will decorate a pre-made house. What would be a good prize for the winners? The ages of the kids are between 9-15.
You can do gift cards to the movies, or ice cream, etc.
Cookie bouquet, there are places online or local bakeries make them sometimes, this would be perfect for the kind of contest you’re having!
Gift Card to Build-A-Bear
Maybe a class for baking, like one or two at a local cooking store, if you can find one on cookies or cupcakes, that age group would love doing cookies or cupcakes, anything more complicated I’m not sure they’d be into.
A hot chocolate gift basket, or stocking. You can do different types of hot chocolate, a mug, some chocolate covered peppermint spoon/stirrers, some peppermint bark, candy canes, and some marshmallows, etc, and make it like a hot chocolate comfort stocking/basket, etc.
